Interaction
- Before taking Isotretinoin; inform your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to Isotretinoin (Accutane) or any other drugs.
- Inform your doctor and pharmacist what prescription and non-prescription medications you are taking. Especially:
- doxycyline
- tetracycline
- minocycline
- carbamazepine
- demeclocycline
- oxytetracycline
- vitamin A & other vitamins & herbal products.
- Do not take any vitamin supplements that contain vitamin A to avoid possible harmful reactions.

Overdose of accutane
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Notes
- Isotretinoin (Accutane) may make your skin sensitive to sunlight.
- Isotretinoin (Accutane) may cause intracranial hypertension, especially when it is taken with tetracycline.
- Symptoms of intracranial hypertenstion include severe headache, upset stomach and vomiting, and changes in vision. If you have any of these symptoms, call your doctor immediately.
- Consult your health care professional before you start hair removal by waxing and laser procedures, as these procedures may cause scarring.
