Desloratadine is an antihistamine.
Clarinex (Desloratadine) may be described as a white to off – white powder which is slightly soluble in water and readily soluble in Ethanol and Propylene Glycol.

Uses of Clarinex
Desloratadine, an antihistamines; is used to treat symptoms of hay fever, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes, & sneezing.
Desloratadine may also be used to treat hives.

Take exactly as directed by your health care professional.

Side effects
Severe Side effects to this medication are rare, but if you notice any of the symptoms listed below inform your health care professional.

dry/sore mouth/throat

Inform your health care professional if you are allergic to any medication in any form.

Clarinex - overdose
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Notes
Before taking desloratadine, inform your health care professional if you have or have ever had kidney or liver disease, phenylketonuria.

Clarinex - Missed Dose
Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Clarinex - storage
Store at room temperature between 36-77 degrees F / 2-25 degrees C.
Avoid excessive heat temperatures greater than 86 degrees F / 30 degrees C.
Do not freeze.

Precaution
If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.
If you need to undergo any kind of surgery, inform your doctor you are taking this medicine.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.
