Important : Inform your doctor if you are taking any anti coagulants such as Agrylin, ReoPro,Warfarin, NSAIDs such as Pletal, Plavix, Ibuprofen, Integrelin, Aggrastat.
If you have epidural or spinal anaesthesia/puncture, whilst taking such a medicine as Enoxaparin, it could cause you to become paralysed.
Speak with your doctor about the risks of taking this medicine.
If you experience leg weakness, numbness, paralysis, tingling, and loss of control over your bladder or bowels, inform your doctor immediately.

Uses
Enoxaparin, an anti coagulant is sometimes referred to as a blood thinner. It works by stopping the formation of substances that are responsible for clotting.

How to use
Contact your pediatrician for more information. Special care may be needed regarding the use of this medicine in children.
Use exactly as directed by your physician.
Do not exceed the dose prescribed by your doctor.
Consult your physician on how to inject yourself, or take a family member along to so they may be trained in how to do the same.
Do not rub the injection site after you take the shot.

Side effects
If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which seem severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.
unusual bleeding/bruising
tarry/bloody stool
swelling of the feet/ankles
redness/burning/irritation at the site of injection
nosebleeds
heavy bleeding during menstruation
fever
diahearra
breathing difficulties
blood in the urine/coughing up of blood

Interaction
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.
NSAIDs
omega 3 fatty acid supplements
blood thinners
asprin like medicines
asprin
any other anti coagulants
any herbal products that contain garlic, ginger, gingko, feverfew, horse chestnut
Inform your doctor about any other medication you may be taking in any other form.

Overdose
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Notes
If you need to undergo any kind of surgery, inform your doctor you are taking this medicine.
If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.
In case of any emergency carry some identification stating your condition, name of medication & health care professional & contact number for the same.

Missed Dose
Do not double dose to make up for a missed shot. Take the next shot as scheduled. Try not to miss any shots.

Store at room temperature below 25 degrees C.

Precaution
Inform your health care professional if you suffer from any allergies of any kind, pork and/or pork products.

haemorrhage / haemophilia
brain tumour/aneurysm
bleeding disorders
delivery of a baby
breast feeding
liver disease
diabetes
recent surgery
prosthetic heart valve
ulcers/other bowel disease
receiving any kind of injections
ongoing cancer treatments
