Carbamazepine may decrease the blood cell production in your body to an extent so as to cause serious or life threatening health issues.
Inform your doctor if you have decreased number of blood cells as a result of taking any other medication.

Carbamazepine, an anti convulsant, is used to treat epilepsy related siezures, trigeminal neuralgia, bipolar disorder.

Side effects
If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which seem severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.

chest pain

nausea
fever
anxiety
sore throat
drowsiness
vision difficulties
confusion/depression
yellowing of the skin or eyes

Overdose
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Missed Dose
Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose.

Precaution
If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.
If you need to undergo any kind of surgery, inform your doctor you are taking this medicine.

Consult your health care professional about having grapefruit whilst on a course with this medicine, in any form.
Wear a medical identification bracelet or chain that mentions you have diabetes, and a card that has a list of all medications that you take and the contact information of your health care professional.
