Ciclopirox is an anti fungal medicine.
This medicine is used to treat fungal infections of the fingernails and toenails in patients with a normal immune system.
How to use
Consult your health care professional or pharmacist if you have any concerns about taking this medicine. Use exactly as directed.
If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which seem severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.
Infection gets worse
Mild burning/stinging at the site of application
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form. Inform your doctor about any other medication you may be taking in any other form.
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.
Inform your doctor if you have or have ever had :
History of seizures
Large areas of burned/damaged skin
Peripheral vascular disease/poor circulation
Taking corticosteroid medication (like steroid inhalers, cream, or lotion)
If you are using it daily at bedtime, skip the missed dose; do not use the medicine the following morning. Follow your regular application schedule.

Store at room temperature between 59 to 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C), away from heat and moisture.
It may take time for this medicine to work; so do not stop using this medicine without checking with your doctor. DO NOT USE nail polish or other nail products unless your doctor instructs you as otherwise.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.
If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.
Keep all appointments with your doctor and all follow up tests.
