Tiotropium (tee oh tro pee um)

Tiotropium, a long-acting bronchodilator, helps people with COPD or other lung problems breathe easily.

This inhalation powder comes as a capsule.

This medication is to be used with a Rotacap Dispenser. (This Device is available under the Asthma Section)

If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which seem severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.

vision problems (severe)
breathing difficulty
palpitations
vomiting
wheezing
chest pain
skin rash/hives
headache (severe)
swelling of the lips/tongue/face

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.

anti-muscarinics
ipratropium
atropine
hyoscyamine
anti-cholinergics

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Inform your doctor if you have or have ever had :

bladder problems
vision problems
palpitations
glaucoma
heart disease
prostrate troubles

Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose.

Store at room temperature between 59-86 degrees F / 15- 30 degrees C, away from heat and moisture.

If you need to undergo any kind of surgery, inform your doctor you are taking this medicine.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.
