Albuterol, a beta-agonist, is used to treat breathing diffculties due to lung diseases such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema.

How to use
Contact a pediatrician for the use of this medication in children.
Shake the inhaler well before each use.
Consult your doctor on how to use the inhaler and use exactly as directed.
Rotacaps : Consult your doctor on how to use the rotacaps. This medication is to be used with a Rotacap Dispenser. (This Device is available under the Asthma Section)

Side effects
If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which seem severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.
palpitations
dry mouth
severe rash
tremors
dizziness
nosebleed
throat irritation

Interaction
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.
ipratropium
triamcinolone
steroid hormones
weight loss medication
MAO inhibitors
anti depressants
beta blockers
diuretics
Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medication for any condition in any form whilst starting a course with this medication.

Overdose
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Notes
Your inhaler mouthpiece should be cleaned at least once a week with warm water and dried completely.

diabetes
hyperthyroidism
blood pressure
any heart condition
seizures

Missed Dose
Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose.

Storage
Store albuterol aerosol inhalation canisters room temperature.
Do not freeze.

Precaution
If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.
If you need to undergo any kind of surgery, inform your doctor you are taking this medicine.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.
