Uses
Abuterol, a beta agonist, is used to ease breathing difficulties caused by lung diseases, by relaxing and opening the air passages in the lungs.

How to use
Swallow whole with a glass of water, maybe taken with or without food.
Take exactly as directed.
Contact your pediatirician for exact dosages in children.

Side effects
If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which seem severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.

hives
nausea
vomiting
muscle cramps
swelling of the hands, feet, face

Interaction
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.

amoxapine
ephedrine
doxipine
propanolol
phenylephrine
pseudoephedrine
Inform your doctor about any other medication you may be taking in any other form.

Overdose
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Notes
Inform your doctor if you have had seizures/convulsions, any blood related disorders, thyroid, diabetes or any other condition before starting a course with this medication.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially if any of the following apply to you:
if you have a history of heart problems,blood vessel problems, high blood pressure, or low blood potassium levels
if you have a history of seizures, diabetes, an overactive thyroid, kidney problems, or an adrenal gland tumor
if you have ever had an unusual reaction to another sympathomimetic medicine
if you are taking MAOIs or tricyclic antidepressant, or if you have taken either of these medicines within the last 14 days

Missed Dose
Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose.

Storage
Store most tablets at controlled room temperature between 2 and 25 degrees C (36 and 77 degrees F), away from heat and moisture.

Precaution
Do not treat yourself with OTC medication of any kind without consulting your prescriber first.
If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.
If you need to undergo any kind of surgery, inform your doctor you are taking this medicine.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.
