Clobetasol (kloe bay ta sol)

Clobetasol, a cortecosteroid, is used in treatment of skin and scalp conditions such as redness, itching, flaking, scaling.

Use as directed.

Wash your hands thouroughly before and after application.

Contact your paediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children.

If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which seem severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.

Inform your health care professional if you are allergic to the formulation of this medicaiton, or to any other medication in any other form.

If you are using any other medication for any other treatment, inform your doctor about it, especially if being treated for any other skin or scalp condition.

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

This medication is for external use only.

Do not cover the affected areas with any dressing after applying this ointment.

Do not double applications to make up for a missed application.

Do not freeze.

Store at room temperature away from heat and light.

If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.

If you need to undergo any kind of surgery, inform your doctor you are taking this medicine.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.

Do not treat yourself with OTC medication whilst on a course with this medication, without consulting with your health care professional.
