What is Biltricide?
Biltricide(generic name Praziquantel) is an antihelmintic or anti-worm medication used to treat schistosomiasis (infections by parasites like Schistosoma [also known as blood flukes] and liver flukes). It is highly effective in arresting the growth and replication of worms in the body.

Biltricide Interaction
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.
st. john's wort
- rifampin
- grapefruit juice
- dexamethasone
- cimetidine
- chloroquine
- barbiturates
- antiepileptic medication, like carbamazepine, fosphenytoin, phenytoin,
- oxcarbazepine
- albendazole
Inform your doctor about any other medication you may be taking in any other form.

What happens if I overdose biltricide?
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Notes for Biltricide
Toilets and floors should be scrubbed clean.
Keep away from pet feces and make sure pets have been treated regularly for worm(s).

Biltricide Storage
Store at room temperature between 86 degrees F (30 degrees C), away from heat and moisture.

Precaution of biltricide
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.
Shower regularly, and clean and scrub your hands, under your fingernails everyday.
All undergarments should be regularly changed and laundered.
