Side effects
Side effects that you should report to your health care professional as soon as possible:
skin rash
drowsiness
convulsions
difficulty breathing
swelling of the face and lips
Other side effects not listed may also occur in some patients. If you notice any other effects, check with your doctor.

Interaction
Tell your prescriber or health care professional about all other medicines you are taking, including non-prescription medicines, nutritional supplements, or herbal products.

other thyroid hormones

Overdose
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Notes
Sucralfate contains aluminum. Before you start any new medicine, check the label to see if it has aluminum in it.

Missed Dose
Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Storage
Store at room temperature between 59-86 degrees F / 15- 30 degrees C.

Precaution
Tell your doctor if any of the following apply to you:
if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding
if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement
if you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances
if you have kidney problems or are on dialysis, or have blockage of the intestines or difficulty swallowing
If you need to take antacid, take it at least 2 hours after a dose of sucralfate or more than 30 minutes before.
