Uses
Sildenafil, a phosphodiesterase inhibitor, is used to treat impotence in men.
Sildenafil is not effective in preventing the spread of AIDS or other sexually transmitted diseases.

How to use Sildenafil Citrate
Sildenafil can be taken anytime from 4 hours to 30 minutes before sexual activity and should not be taken more than once a day.
Take exactly as directed.

If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which seem severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.
- itching/burning during urination
- nasal congestion (stuffiness)
- breast enlargement
- changes in vision
- upset stomach
- chest pain
- diarrhea
- rash
- dizziness
- fainting
- headache
- painful erection
- light-headedness
- flushing (feeling of warmth)
prolonged erection (longer than 4 hours)

Interaction
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.

- hiv protease inhibitors
- h2 agonists
- cimetidine

Overdose of Sildenafil Citrate
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Notes
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially if any of the following apply to you:
if you have a deformed penis, blood problems, or any other condition that may increase the risk of a prolonged erection
if you have a history of certain eye problems
if you have a history of liver or kidney problems, high or low blood pressure, ulcers, bleeding problems, heart problems or blood vessel problems
if you have a history of heart attack, stroke, or life-threatening irregular heartbeat, especially within the past 6 months
