Loprox Gel, a pyridone anti fungal agent, is used to treat vaginal infections.

Contact your paediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children.

Consult your pharmacist or health care professional and use as directed.

Hygeine measures suggested whilst on a course of treatment with this medication should be strictly followed.

At usual doses, this vaginal gel is well tolerated, rarely transient itching/ irritation may occur.

After each application the applicator should be cleansed thoroughly with warm water and soap.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.

Inform your doctor about any other medication you may be taking in any other form.

If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.

Do not double applications to make up for a missed application.

Ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.

Store in a cool dry place.

In order to avoid reinfection, it is necessary to treat the partner.
