Ciclopirox, an antifungal agent, is used to treat fungal infections of the fingernails and toenails in patients with a normal immune system (immunocompetent).

Use ciclopirox exactly as prescribed by your health care professional.
Contact your paediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children.
Side effect that may occur while using Ciclopirox is mild redness of the surrounding skin. If it continues or is bothersome, check with your doctor.

Check with your doctor as soon as possible if you experience:
itching
burning
swelling
blistering
increased redness
oozing of the treated area
If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.

Overdose
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

If you miss a dose of this medicine, apply it as soon as possible. Do not double applications to make up for a missed application.

If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.
