Skin inflammation is also known as skin rash. Skin inflammation on face can be caused because of allergies, infections, or heat, as well as reactions due to certain medications. Rosacea: This is a persistent, inflammatory skin problem which causes redness as well as pimples on the forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin. Rosacea appears like acne and it is cyclic.

Contact Dermatitis: This is one more cause for skin inflammation on face and is caused because of exposure to external allergens such as, animal hair, pollens, some chemicals and foods. Heat Rash: Heat rash is one of the most common skin inflammations on the face and it usually develops after the body is exposed to very hot or perhaps humid conditions.

Hives: Hives are caused due to an allergic reaction to external allergens, insect bites, viral infection and fluctuations in temperature. This causes a red rash, itchiness as well as a burning sensation.

Herpes Zoster:
This is a viral infection that shows as a painful and itchy skin inflammation on the face. A virus called Varicella zoster which causes chickenpox, also causes shingles which further leads to an itchy burning skin inflammation on the face.

Infantile Acne: This is a very common skin inflammation on the face that is also called normal newborn rash. It mostly develops because of some hormonal changes while the fetus is developing. However, it clears off without treatment within a few weeks.

Treatment and solutions for skin inflammation on face:
Most skin inflammations on the face do not pose any danger and are clear off on their own. Nevertheless, if an individual experiences some symptoms such as, dry or itchy skin and a burning sensation, he/she should make it a point to consult a dermatologist or skincare specialist for necessary treatment. Some over the counter medications such as, anti itch creams that contain camphor, pramoxine, menthol, or Diphenhydramine and antihistamines such as, chlortrimeton, Loratadine or perhaps some moisturizing lotions can be used. However, it is always advisable to consult a dermatologist before using any skincare products.

Avoid the consumption of certain chemicals, tobacco, alcohol, and processed or junk foods. This will definitely help in reducing the chances of skin inflammation on face.

Maintain good hygiene and keep the skin clean. Keeping away from allergens and environmental pollutants will also prove beneficial.
